Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration comes from seeing people unlock potential they never knew they had. The building of Truesdale Coaching is my way of creating impact helping entrepreneurs rise, lead, and transform their communities through confidence, clarity, and action. My inspiration is my mother who taught me how to persevere in spite of all obstacles. In addition, the business is also dedicated to the memory of my Father William B. Truesdale. His legacy lives on. My passion for business and helping people.

How do you stay motivated?

Motivation begins with a clear sense of purpose. When you know why you’re pursuing a goal. For example completing my MBA to honor my late father who earned his MBA and shortly passed away suddenly. The work feels meaningful rather than than a burdensome. Purpose acts as an anchor during difficult moments. This reminds me that effort contributes to something larger than the task in front of me. There must be a deeper connection, even important goals can feel empty or overwhelming.

What would you do with the $25,000?

With $25,000 I would scale Truesdale Coaching and Consulting by building affordable training programs for underserved entrepreneurs in Chicago. The investment would fund digital tools, marketing, and curriculum development that help students launch and grow businesses creating measurable impact and long-term economic growth. This would create a ripple effect of growth and opportunity across Chicago.
