Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My mother Natasha Bassett was a major supporter and inspiration for my business. She was my number 1 fan, through her cancer battle. She passed away in November of 2022 at 51 years old after a 7 year battle with cancer and didn’t get to see me open my salon but she did get to see me start my brand and know that it was named after her. She loved butterflies and she was always a positive light in my life so I named my brand “Fearless Butterfly” after my mother.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by remembering my “why”. My goal is to Embody my mother’s legacy and always try and stay positive through all of life’s challenges. I want my clients and my customers to see the light through anything they do or go through in life as well.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I am pregnant with my first child and due Jan 21st, 2025. I would use the $25,000 to help expand my business by manufacturing new lash supplies for my website and store pickup orders, donate a portion toward purchasing products that I use for my free henna brow services in the salon, which is 100% free for cancer survivors and cancer patients and I would pay some of my salon storefront rent upfront to help me while working and starting motherhood. This would help me tremendously.
