Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My kids. People ask me how many children I have. My response? 28. I have 2 children at home Madison and James (hence my company name: Madison James) and 26 students in the classroom. I do not idolize any one person. I am very much open minded to all innovation and leadership skills because I want to learn always. I try to stay level headed and do what I do for the greater good. Instill systems that work and stay focused. Perseverance has always been my best friend.

How do you stay motivated?

Simply by taking the time to stop and reflect on how far I've come and always looking for new opportunities to learn and grow. That is a must in the education world. I have a master's in education leadership and I find that it comes in handy with business as well. When I reflect and have gratitude, I can make more room for growth.

What would you do with the $25,000?

The $25,000 would be invested in my brand Madison James. It would allow me to systematize a few aspects of the business and allow me to be able to focus more on the business rather than work in the business 24/7. I want to have freedom to design more pieces that empower women to keep moving forward in life. I would have to ability to invest in more strategic marketing to my ideal customer and make more sales to keep the brand growing and really make an impact for women and children organizations
