Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration in business stems from my mother, who passed away from breast cancer when I was 8. At the time, I was too young to care for her, and watching this strong, independent, selfless woman become so helpless was traumatic. That experience sparked my commitment to help others and put their needs first. I built my business around the value of "helping others," turning grief into a dedication to serve with love and care. Her legacy of strength and compassion guides me daily.

How do you stay motivated?

My family, including my children and husband, motivates me to be an example of hard work and dedication. I have dedicated my life and career to helping others, and I want my experiences-both the triumphs and struggles —to serve as a guide for my children as they navigate their own lives. I instill in them the importance of faith, teaching them that nothing is possible without God. The life we live and the things we have are a testament to my trust in Him to provide for us.

What would you do with the $25,000?

My business is based in Asheville, NC. While unaffected by Hurricane Helene, my home was destroyed, causing delays in several projects. With the $25,000, I would expand my business's reach through enhanced marketing to attract more clients. I'd also invest in training for myself and my team to improve service quality. Additionally, I would allocate funds to community outreach programs, supporting my mission to help others and give back to the community that has supported me.
