Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration in business comes from my journey and the resilience I learned growing up with a single mom. I’m driven to break vicious generational cycles that have limited opportunities for my family. Having worked hard to achieve milestones my grandparents, who passed young, couldn’t have imagined, I aim to create something meaningful—not just for my future family, but to inspire others to believe in what they can achieve through faith, vision and hard work

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by the purpose behind my brand. After climbing the corporate ladder, the toll of pressure and stress led me to a dark place. Transitioning to build my business has allowed me to offer others a chance to slow down and find peace. Time is precious, and my brand is part of a movement to help people embrace serenity in a busy world. With faith in God and my husband's support, I’m driven to make a lasting impact.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I’ve never had anything given to me, but what I do receive will be well invested, backed by tenacity and hard work. I’d invest in a coach and create a strategic plan to ensure the investment is used wisely, bringing an upscale and luxurious experience to life. My business currently sells candles online, but the goal is to open a shop combining a customizable candle-making experience with a coffee bar. I'd also aim to give back & invest in a mentor program to help small businesse
