Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My children are my inspiration! I strive to succeed mainly for their sake. I was never given anything in life, and I had to scrap and fight for every little thing I have able to achieve in liege and I can firmly say that my 3 son are my inspiration. I came from a single mother home, I was able to get myself through undergraduate school at my own cost to earn my Bachelors in healthcare management. I then proceeded to enroll at Virginia Tech to pursue my master information technology degree.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by not giving up when I’m told “No”! I look at my kids and know that they depend on me and that I cannot give up. I know that if I give up, then I am setting them up for failure. I also try my very best to keep a strong faith in God. I know that one day my door will open by God’s grace.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I wish to open up a medical billing and coding company. I have a lot of experience in billing from working in the medical field for several years. I have the knowledge, experience and determination to succeed in this arena. I have a business plan ready, as well as projections for the next 24 months. We are looking to generate around $250,000 in the first year of business and looking to scale that number times 2 with two years. This is a recession proof business that will always be profitable.
