Who or what is your inspiration in business?

Since I was a teenager, I always dealt with the feeling of not being good enough. From appearance, to family, to sports, and other aspirations, I struggled with finding my confidence and my identity. I created the idea for my nonprofit from my own personal pains. So even though I never felt like I was enough, I wanted to make sure that other people knew they were. At such a young age I understood that my joy would come from helping others find theirs.

How do you stay motivated?

My greatest motivation is God because God has never failed me so I never want to fail God. Family is the second biggest motivation for me because not only do I want to succeed but I want my family to succeed as well. Last but certainly not least, people are my motivation. I believe in the goodness of people and I know that we are all children of God facing our own battles. I want to break generational curses and put the younger generation in a position to go farther than those before them.

What would you do with the $25,000?

By investing in IAME you are investing in the future because we invest in people and people are the future. If chosen to win the $25,000 this money will be invested in educational programs that further help people develop personally and professionally. In addition to funding our own workshops for the community we will also be sponsoring youth who can not afford sports programs, counseling sessions, internship programs, creative classes, or anything else they aspire to learn.
