Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My family and inner strength have been the foundation of my journey. Fleeing the war with my three children, I relied on resilience and determination to rebuild in Canada. This is my third successful business, started with just $122, fueled by passion and the Ukrainian spirit. With the support of the local community and mentors, I strive to create opportunities, preserve culture, and inspire others to overcome challenges and achieve their dreams.

How do you stay motivated?

Now - the war is my motivation—it has reshaped my purpose and drive. Through my actions, I set an example for those who have lost hope, loved ones, businesses, and families, starting over from almost zero. I prove that resilience, hard work, and belief in a better future can overcome even the darkest times. My journey is not just about rebuilding my life but also inspiring others to rise again despite the hardships.

What would you do with the $25,000?

The $25,000 grant will help expand my network and business reach. I will attend business events, present my journey, and host masterclasses to inspire and connect with new partners. Funds will also support scaling production, entering supermarkets, improving packaging, and boosting marketing. Investing in logistics, staff training, and community initiatives will strengthen operations and create more opportunities for growth and impact.
