Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration comes from innovative leaders like Sara Blakely, who turned a simple idea that helps people into a global brand. Locally, I'm inspired by my team of brilliant artists; their passion for their craft motivates me to foster a culture of innovation & collaboration. I mostly draw inspiration from the stories and characters I see on stage; the authenticity, vulnerability, and determination of performers and their characters motivate me to bring a similar energy to my business.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by merging my passions - the arts and entrepreneurship. Seeing the impact of Mandee Marquee on our community, celebrating our small wins, and continuously drawing inspiration from the stories and characters I get to see on stage with my guests all fuel my drive to innovate and push boundaries. Furthermore, the resilience and determination of performers remind me to approach challenges with creativity and heart.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would use the funds to develop the Mandee Marquee App, which will provide an even more seamless and accessible way for our customers to purchase affordable tickets to live events. The app will be an extension of our ticketing service and will allow users to easily browse and book tickets on-the-go, furthering our mission to make the arts more inclusive. Additionally, I would gift micro grants to my team; this would be a small token of appreciation for all their hard work and dedication.
