Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration comes from the fact that I literally get to do my dream job every day, part art and part business. The intersection of the two inspired me to create my own career designing jewelry for women who want jewelry that catches the eye and brings a smile. Amelia Rose is colorful, unique and exquisitely handcrafted. Not a single day goes by that I forget how fortunate I am to love what I do.

How do you stay motivated?

That's the easy part! I'm a morning person, always have been. I wake up often thinking of new designs, color combinations and what steps I can take to continue to offer our customers and retail partners the best experience shopping with us. I have always treated our customers as I hope to be treated as a customer myself, with respect and responsiveness.

What would you do with the $25,000?

Invest in more equipment such as another engraving machine and laser welder. Elevate our Shopify website to offer virtual try on as well as invest in colorful and custom jewelry storage options. The next project would be to fund the start up costs for another non-profit collaboration giving 100% of proceeds back; my husband went through cancer a few years ago so working with The Chordoma Foundation would be fantastic.
