Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My biggest inspiration is my community and families currently in shelters. I enjoy providing workshops and 1:1 meetings with those are ready to take the next step-in their housing journey for better housing opportunities here in NYC. I enjoy seeing smiles on faces when I provide new information that I research daily to help with their journey. Im most inspired by the woman philanthropist before me that has helped their community in many different ways. I yearn to be the next inspiration!

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by continuously researching on the internet, poster boards in the community, social media and workshop events to post on my social media page. I enjoy providing updates and being a reliable source to my following group. I am also motivated by the fact that I am the go to person in my community for housing questions and resources for no cost and my name is continuously being recognized in my generation.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would use this money to help assist a few families with housing application fees, broker fee and security deposit to expedite their move in time frame due to the long wait time of HRA system take to give to landlord and management offices for clients to get their keys. I would also use funds to cover family travel expenses to view apartments.
