Who or what is your inspiration in business?

I would have to say Nikki Glaser and other entertainers that seem to have a good sense of reality. Nikki was a motivation for me to get sober, seeing a successful sober person talk openly about living without alcohol. I have observed how these entertainers became successful and how they stay motiviated and I feel like I have unlocked the key to success. Society loves authenticity so business to me is not as complicated as it may look. As long as you are connecting with people you can't fail!

How do you stay motivated?

I have a mission. Simply put, I want to make people smile and just have a good time in life. Anything I do with Sober One Six goes back to that main purpose. Why am I doing this event, why am I posting this content, does it help the main purpose of making people happy? I am in the trenches talking to our current/future customers and supporters and actually listening to them! They want community, authenticity and no pressure fun! We provide that for them since we work for them!

What would you do with the $25,000?

The $25,000 would greatly help me pay off debt built over the first two years of trying to establish our name and brand. We do well now with brand recognition and are even branching out to different cities. I myself am starting to build a name for myself online but the backlog of debt is looming over me. It would be amazing to be able to clear most of it and start fresh with new and exciting events for our WNY community and beyond!
