Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration in business comes from visionary leaders like Nelson Mandela and social entrepreneurs who prioritize diversity and community empowerment. I’m driven by the desire to create inclusive spaces where everyone can thrive and by the impact that fostering strong, supportive communities can have. Additionally, witnessing the transformative power of sports in bringing people together motivates me to build initiatives that promote unity, growth, and positive change through pickleball.

How do you stay motivated?

Staying motivated comes from my passion for pickleball and the joy of building inclusive communities. Seeing players grow and achieve their goals inspires me daily. Collaborating with organizations and launching initiatives like Black Pickleballers United and the Morehouse Pickleball Initiative drives me to promote diversity and excellence in the sport. Additionally, winning contests and supporting charitable causes fuels my commitment to making a positive impact both on and off the court.

What would you do with the $25,000?

With $25,000, I would expand the Morehouse Pickleball Initiative by purchasing equipment, organizing workshops, and offering scholarships. Funds would support Black Pickleballers United and The Global Black Pickleball Association through events, coaching clinics, and partnerships with C.H.O.I.C.E.S. and Never Alone. Additionally, I would establish a small indoor Pickleball Academy under DAB Pickleball to enhance accessibility and foster diversity in our community.
