Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration in business derives from witnessing how my story impacts all who I come in contact with. From my books, speaking engagements, to my coaching clients seeing other survivors elevate and transform into the best version of themselves is priceless.

How do you stay motivated?

Motivation for me will forever be endless as long as the horrific epidemic of intimate partner violence exists. I will continue to utilize my voice and platform make waves in the world until domestic violence, trans violence, and sexual assaults are eradicated.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I am awarded the prize of $25,000, I would first donate a portion towards my nonprofit Mercedes Closet Inc. As so we can continue to provide resources for survivors of violence in the LGBTQ+ community. I would also utilize it to fund future projects. One being my new book entitled Hey Phat Girl: How to Love Yourself Back to Life. A book geared to shifting individuals from living to eat to eating to live, build confidence, find self love so they can become unstoppable.
