Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration comes from God. Seeing His works gives me inspiration to manifest my vision into a legacy. I strongly believe that without faith your work is dead. My wife, my daughter, sons, mom and God, all inspire me to never give up and persevere to be the best businessman and entrepreneur I can be. My grandfather also had a huge impact on my mission to become an entrepreneur. He was the first black man in Detroit to own his trucking business. Entrepreneurship is embedded within me.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by my product’s reactions. I am a walking billboard. When people see my apparel, they are not only intrigued, they immediately purchase whatever I have available at the moment. After all, this is (Forever) Detroit! My brand has had success for many years, since its conception. I know that my brand can soar. I’m applying for the funds so that it may do so.

What would you do with the $25,000?

FOREVER DETROIT would grow substantially with the funding that’s being offered. It will assist me in obtaining the proper equipment and tools that will allow FOREVER DETROIT, the brand, the ability to mass produce FOREVER DETROIT APPAREL. Thank you for the provided opportunity.
