Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration in business is my family, particularly my grandma “bubbie,” my mom and sisters, who faced breast cancer with strength and grace. Witnessing their journeys and the lack of post-surgical support inspired me to create Breast Friends Concierge Nursing. I’m driven by the opportunity to provide the compassionate care they deserved, empowering women to recover with dignity and comfort. Their resilience fuels my passion every day.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by remembering my “why”—helping women recover from breast cancer surgery with dignity and care. Seeing the impact of my work and drawing inspiration from my family’s strength keeps me going. After losing my grandma over the summer, I stay motivated to make her proud. Knowing I’m building something meaningful and helping women in my community drives me every day.

What would you do with the $25,000?

With $25K, I would expand my services beyond Chicago to reach more women recovering from breast cancer surgery. This would include hiring and training additional nurses, enhancing outreach efforts, and ensuring more women have access to the compassionate post-surgical care they deserve. Every woman should feel supported during recovery, and this funding would help make that vision a reality.
