Who or what is your inspiration in business?

Picture this, 2019, I was entering my second year of my Master’s degree in public health and and most of my papers were on disease prevention or health initiatives through nutrition. I also transitioned to eating a 100% plant-based diet and I learned a vast wealth of knowledge on how corrupt and unhealthy the dairy and meat industry is along with the fact that these unhealthy foods were targeting my Latinx & African American communities. I knew I had to help and do something about it.

How do you stay motivated?

Everyday I am motivated by hearing testimonials from clients on how my business is changing their lives. From seeing clients self-esteem go up by being comfortable and happy in their body, being able to wear clothes that they haven't been able to wear in over 5 years to reversing their negative health status or health condition where they no longer have to take medication and succumb to the western norm of living off of pharmaceuticals. What would you do with the $25,000?

I would start what I wanted to start from the beginning of becoming a small entrepreneur; subsidize our services to my low-income POC, who need it the most. During this three year journey I have observed that those that need our services the most, are the ones who cannot afford it. Given that this small business is my primary source of income I have not been able to yet expand to those clients who really need it but cannot afford it. I would also like to use some of it to live debt free!
