Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration in business is the thought of working for myself, changing the outcome of my future all through hard work and determination. When starting this business, I thought it would be fun to take photos of people and capture their memories. I quickly learned it was much more than that. From starting my business, I have learned important business skills such as marketing, finances, paying bills, paying taxes, client communication, and much more. This prepared me for going to college.

How do you stay motivated?

As a young entrepreneur, like myself, overcoming challenges and achieving long-term success comes from staying motivated. My motivation fuels perseverance, helps maintain focus on goals, and encourages myself to push back against setbacks. I can strive in continuous learning, innovation, and adaptation, all of which are key to my growth. My consistent motivation keeps me passionate, productive, and ensures I stay committed to my business.

What would you do with the $25,000?

As I am attending business school, I would use the $25,000 to help pay back loans after graduating in 2027. I will also use some of the scholarship to invest in bettering my photography business: investing in new equipment, education, and keeping the business afloat during slow season. I believe in continuous learning as I believe I can grow and always learn new tricks. The $25,000 is like an achievement of someone believing in me.
