My inspiration in business is rooted in creating an opportunity system for those least likely to succeed, just as I once was. Growing up without traditional support taught me the value of resilience and innovation. I understand firsthand how the right opportunity can transform lives. That’s why I’m driven to build businesses that empower others to pivot from being overlooked to becoming significant contributors. For me, true success is about lifting others and creating lasting impact

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by keeping my eyes on the bigger picture, building opportunities that can truly make a difference. I’ve been where the odds were against me, and that experience keeps me going, not just for myself, but for others who need a chance to rise. Every setback is a lesson, and every victory is a reminder of what’s possible. Staying grounded in my purpose, learning as I go, and surrounding myself with people who challenge me helps me keep moving forward.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If awarded $25,000, I would expand SkillSwapr, an app that connects creatives and entrepreneurs through skill exchanges to foster growth. Users trade talents like graphic design for financial coaching, building a community of mutual support. The funds would enhance the app’s features and reach, while also scaling my entrepreneurship and financial education programs to help users turn their skills into ventures that empower communities.
