Who or what is your inspiration in business?

Every moment of black excellence I see, inspires me. It shows me that I need to think bigger. It shows me that my reach can be much bigger and I have barely scratched the surface. This is my calling and it is time to share what has come so naturally for me.

How do you stay motivated?

I have always been self motivated. I didn’t choose Accounting for a profession, it chose me. I witnessed what “the struggle” looked like growing up and I knew I didn’t want that for myself forever. I applied for my first job on my birthday at 16 years old and I vowed to never be in a situation where I needed to rely on someone else to survive financially. What would you do with the $25,000?

The entire $25k would go back to my community through a financial literacy event. The goal is to invite peers in my industry to join me, to ensure it is impactful and we reach a broader group of individuals and small businesses.
