Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration in business stems from my deeply personal experiences. After my father’s suicide in 2020, I started Punkerton Records to honor his memory and his love for music. As a Disabled US Army Veteran and Ohio State graduate, I’ve learned both resilience and the importance of helping others. Music has the power to heal and inspire, and I’m driven to support artists whose music brings hope and strength to those navigating life’s challenges, just as it has done for me

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by focusing on my purpose, knowing the enormous impact music can make. My wife and daughters inspire me daily, reminding me why I work hard and filling my life with love and purpose. Losing my father, and so many other friends and family, drives me to honor their memory by helping others through music. Resilience is ingrained in me, pushing me to persevere. I’m driven to build a legacy where music heals, inspires, and connects people, leaving a lasting positive impact.

What would you do with the $25,000?

With $25,000, I would focus on recording more artists to expand the Punkerton Records roster, enhance marketing efforts, improve distribution, and upgrade my equipment, as I handle all the work myself. Recording more artists would provide opportunities for emerging talent. Upgraded equipment would boost efficiency and quality, while stronger marketing and distribution would ensure our artists’ music reaches a wider audience. These investments would help grow the label and its impact.
