Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration in business comes from my aunt Sylvia, who taught me how to sew and sparked my love for fashion. Her seamstress shop showed me the power of creativity. Additionally, my desire to empower others through self-expression drives me to create pieces that remind people they are one of a kind. My journey from repurposing thrifted items to building BREA DAESHON is 100% fueled by the belief that every individual is unique, and fashion should be a reflection of that.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by remembering why I started—my passion for creating and the impact I want to have. Seeing my designs come to life and knowing they help boost someone's confidence keeps me going. I also draw strength from the challenges I’ve overcome. From starting in a small room at my mom’s house to building BREA DAESHON, each step reminds me that growth comes with hard work and persistence.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would invest in scaling BREA DAESHON. First, I’d use part of the funds to upgrade my production process—whether it’s investing in new collections or securing a small studio space to increase efficiency. I’d also allocate some for marketing to expand the brand’s reach, focusing on social media ads and influencer partnerships that align with my brand. Lastly, I’d invest in growing my team, because as of now I run my entire brand alone.
