Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

I grew up with a single mom & sister with disabilities. Tagging along to multiple therapy visits a week with was the norm for me. I even called my sis "good girl" because that's what I constantly heard therapists say to her. I took my first steps in her physical therapists' office. Seeing the challenges my mom faced making each appointment for my sister inspired me to create a business that provides onsite services, in homes, schools & daycares to ease the burden on families.

How do you stay motivated?

The clients, families, and communities we serve inspire me daily. Hearing testimonials and playing a part in children's first steps, words, and milestones is the most rewarding aspect of my career. Another motivational component to my business has been creating a positive and supportive work culture for our team of therapists & witnessing how thankful they are to work for a company that is therapist & women owned.

What would you do with the $25,000?

The $25,000 reward would help Motor Mouth Therapy keep up with the growth and need to serve the communities around us. Our therapists are currently at their max caseloads and we need to be able to hire to keep up with the demanding need in Oklahoma. However, to hire requires needing more space, therapy materials, testing materials. We work primarily in rural Oklahoma and the funds would help us offer incentives to current employees for travel to more rural areas.
