Who or what is your inspiration in business?

STEM So(ul)cial is inspired by my passion for creating spaces where underrepresented STEM professionals can connect, grow, and thrive. I wanted to bridge the gap between technical skills and community building, empowering individuals to pursue their dreams while fostering meaningful relationships. It’s about merging the “soul” of community with the technical world, helping people excel both personally and professionally.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by focusing on my “why”—the impact I want to make in STEM and beyond. Celebrating small wins, reflecting on my growth, and setting clear goals keep me driven. Surrounding myself with an inspiring team, practicing gratitude, and taking breaks to recharge also help me maintain momentum.

What would you do with the $25,000?

With $25,000, I would expand STEM So(ul)cial’s reach and impact by hosting more in-person events across the U.S., producing the STEM Talks on Tap podcast to provide accessible professional development content, and increasing scholarships for underrepresented students in STEM. I’d also use a portion of the money to invest in our first Soulstice Summit in November 2025.
