Learn MoreFigure skating is my 1st love and being able to share this love with boys and girls that look like me gives me the push that I need to continue this work. I find inspiration in seeing my skaters reach their skating goals after the hard work that they have put in on the ice.
How do you stay motivated?I stay motivated by remembering my why. At times I do get discouraged and want to quit but I remember not only why I started Dream Detroit but why I fell in love with skating. I want others to create that same love and passion that I have for skating in their own way.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would put the $25,000 back into Dream Detroit to help support some of the financial needs of my skaters who want to further their skating journey but may not have the financial means to pursue skating to their highest potential.
