Who or what is your inspiration in business?

I’m inspired when I can lift others in some way. I founded www.StatuesLikeMe.com so young and seasoned people could displayed their likeness in a beautiful, touchable, uplifting, and honorable way. When I witnessed Dwayne Wade’s statue unveiling I felt sad. I couldn’t see any resemblance or beauty. I knew Statues Like Me could significantly improve how people are portrayed to inspire, encourage, and add a vibe to patios, gardens, living spaces or offices.

How do you stay motivated?

I am motivated by the opportunity to provide patent-pending products that ensure everyone can see themselves beautifully represented—without the need to alter another ethnicity’s likeness. Everyone is beautiful and deserves to be seen as such. Statues Like Me creates indoor and outdoor statues that celebrate diversity and authenticity.

What would you do with the $25,000?

We will procure our products, secure a dedicated space for storage, obtain business insurance, and establish a dedicated business line. Additionally, we will enhance our website with SEO, implement targeted marketing strategies, and begin developing our male statue line. Lastly, we will ensure a contingency plan is in place for any unexpected expenses.
