Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

The inspiration behind my work as an author, public speaker, and founder of 1% Schools stems from a deep desire to inspire others to unlock their potential. Through my book, The 1% Kid, and motivational talks, I share the power of mindset, goal-setting, and resilience to help individuals of all ages strive to be 1% better every day. My mission is to empower communities, uplift underprivileged youth, and create lasting impact through education, storytelling, and personal growth.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated because this work is my passion. From a young age, I stood out—not just for how I looked, but for my mindset. I’ve always been goal-oriented; at just 3 years old, I declared I would play soccer at Ohio State and graduate from there—and I did. Helping others unlock their potential keeps me inspired every day and is why I do what I do.

What would you do with the $25,000?

With $25,000, I’d scale my 1% School System by developing workshops, sponsoring kids in underprivileged areas, and building our school branding. I’d print and distribute The 1% Kid widely, expand 1% Apparel with new products and eco-friendly practices, and enhance my podcast with upgraded equipment, guest engagement, and video content. By uniting these efforts under a cohesive brand and strategic marketing, I’d amplify my impact, inspire more individuals, and grow each venture
