Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My daughter was my inspiration for starting my firm. It has always been my goal to show my daughter that anything is possible if you plan, work hard and never quit no matter how difficult the task may get. These principles will guarantee success. In the lowest points and darkest hours on this journey called business, I sourced my desire to inspire my daughter to keep me going when quitting was the easiest option.

How do you stay motivated?

My initial inspiration was to inspire my daughter. However as we have grown, I am inspiring a multitude of young girls, grown women and other business owners and potential/ future entrepreneurs . I mentor other entrepreneurs to help them avoid some of the pitfalls that I experienced. My motivation comes from experience, growth, knowledge and wealth that I have gained in the last 10 years as a 100% Woman Owned African American Award Winning Firm.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If we were fortunate enough to get $25,000 I would use it for Marketing, Rebranding and to purchase new Software. We started out as an over the road trucking firm and we have grown to offer 2 additional services. I have started the process by doing a DBA as The Swint Group instead of Swint Logistics Group, Inc.. However, I need to update the website, we need new signage for our building, new collateral materials and a social media site update / merger of accounts.
