Who or what is your inspiration in business?

Rhys Hair Loft was inspired by the incredible work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit of my mother, who taught me the importance of being marketable, efficient, and a great problem solver in her ventures, from selling newspapers to earning a Masters Degree. My children also inspire me every day.Showing my 3daughters and son that with hard work, determination, and a love for what you do, anything is possible. This business is my way of honoring these lessons and paving the way for their dreams.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by the satisfaction my clients express after their transformations. Knowing that a new hairstyle can change their outlook from feeling overwhelmed to feeling relaxed and focused on the next positive steps in their lives is incredibly rewarding. Seeing the impact of my work fuels my passion, alongside the love for my family and my own drive to achieve greatness.

What would you do with the $25,000?

With $25,000, I’d step away from being almost exclusively behind the chair to invest in courses on business management, leadership, and finance. This would strengthen my skills, refine my brand, and equip me to be an effective leader. It’s a step toward building a solid foundation for business growth and a long-term team.
