Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

I began my entrepreneurial journey in 2014 and began taking it seriously as a business owner in 2017. I had my first daughter in 2020, my second in 2023 and becoming a Mom inspired me to take everything I learned and form both an agency and a SaaS. Being a mom, has inspired me to create opportunities for other Moms wanting to have their own business. You can have life, a business AND be a mom too.

How do you stay motivated?

Motivation can only carry you so far - discipline is what sees you through. While I experience waves of motivation, it's discipline that holds me to the intentions and goals that I set. People lose motivation when they fear change, they aren't afraid of starting but the change it requires as a person is why motivation dwindles and it's the discipline that will hold you accountable.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I won the grant, we'd be able to accelerate Her Society Solutions’ (SaaS for VA's) mission to empower a thousand women and moms to achieve financial independence as Virtual Assistants. We will enhance our SaaS platform with user-friendly tools, develop training and mentorship programs, and expand marketing to underserved communities. This project addresses barriers women face in traditional workspaces, creating economic opportunity and flexibility for stronger families & communities
