Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My goal has always been to make a positive impact in the world, by creating a society with less judgement, fear and financial struggles. I believe this change is possible by providing opportunities for anyone, regardless of financial or social status, to travel and work. The more you see, the more you learn, and in turn the less you judge, because you have been exposed to that culture. This was my inspiration to start ShortStaf App and it continues to inspire me today.

How do you stay motivated?

Hearing stories from ShortStaf members and seeing that something I built has made such a positive change in their lives. Giving them more time, money and freedom to do what they love, all while exposing them to different environments and cultures, has not only opened other doors for them, but they are more independent, happy and fulfilled. Eventually, all of these happier individuals make up our community and then one community at a time, society begins to shift. That is why I keep going.

What would you do with the $25,000?

Honestly, breathe for a moment. Take a much needed mini trip with my son, launch our new ShortStaf initiatives and then start my next venture. One that bridges the gap for working or solo parents and entrepreneurs in the workforce. Being a solo parent to an infant in 2021, while running a company and working full-time, opened my eyes to this insane dichotomy that is so widely accepted in our society. This money would enable me to start this societal shift that is so desperately needed. <3
