Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration and business is ironically from someone who has never owned a business. It’s my dad. My whole life my dad always told me how capable I was to be whatever it was I wanted to be. Even in the worst moments, he always believed in me. I grew up always seeing him give back to strangers. That’s literally what my business exists to do. I took the foundation he gave us and multiplied it into what exist today.

How do you stay motivated?

What keeps me motivated is always the bigger picture. Some days are rough, but focusing on the end goal has always got me through some of my toughest times. I’ve learned not to seek bulletin board material for my motivation. At the end of the day, I really just want to impact as many people as possible. I understand that l need to be locked in at all times to do so.

What would you do with the $25,000?

First and foremost, I want to state that $25,000 is a lot of money. If done right it would absolutely help me reach my goal of helping fathers grow and develop into better people. I was a 16-year-old father and I had all 4 of my children by the age. All I needed was opportunity. Right now we have 20 employees who all earn really competitive wages. I would reinvest the money into my business to create more jobs and opportunities for everyone.
