Rihanna’s launch of Fenty Beauty inspired me to build Beautifully Loc'd as a natural, clean hair brand. Her dedication to inclusivity and breaking beauty standards showed me the power of embracing authenticity. With Beautifully Loc'd, I aim to change how society perceives locs, offering products and services that honor natural beauty, self-expression, and wellness—just as Fenty reshaped the beauty industry for all skin tones.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by constantly challenging myself to raise the bar, competing with who I was yesterday to become a better version of myself today. With Beautifully Loc'd, I push through external competition by staying true to my vision, focusing on innovation, and delivering high-quality, clean products for natural hair. Each day, I’m driven by the desire to redefine how locs are perceived, offering something unique in an ever-growing beauty industry.

What would you do with the $25,000?

A $25,000 investment would elevate Beautifully Loc'd by expanding product lines, enhancing marketing efforts, and upgrading equipment to better serve clients. It would allow us to scale our clean, natural hair care offerings, increase visibility through digital campaigns, and invest in staff training. This boost would help solidify Beautifully Loc'd as a leader in transforming how society views locs, while supporting growth into new markets and services.
