Who or what is your inspiration in business?

The inspiration for A List Salon & Waxing comes from my journey as a cosmetologist since 2002, my love for empowering others, and my commitment to making luxury services accessible. Starting in 2020 during the pandemic, I built a space where everyone, regardless of their circumstances, can feel valued and beautiful. My children inspire me daily to persevere, and my community motivates me to give back through charity, pop-ups, and kindness. A List is rooted in passion, resilience, and service

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by focusing on my passion for helping others and creating a positive impact in my community. Seeing my clients leave A List Salon & Waxing feeling confident and cared for reminds me why I started this journey. My children inspire me to persevere and lead by example, showing them the value of hard work and resilience. I’m also driven by my vision to grow the salon and provide opportunities for others to succeed, which keeps me energized every day.

What would you do with the $25,000?

With $25,000, I would invest in growing A List Salon & Waxing by paying off existing equipment and purchasing upscale facial equipment like a HydraFacial machine to enhance our services. I’d expand our luxury e-commerce product line, invest in strategic marketing to reach a broader audience, and hire adequate staff to ensure exceptional client experiences.
