What is the Entrepreneur of Impact?
Learn MoreMy inspiration comes from my own communities: resilient Black and Indigenous peoples, women, and other historically disenfranchised groups—past, present, and future. WeSuap is dedicated to building a world where money doesn’t limit access to professional and personal growth. A platform like Wesuap, with its existing technology, could have been life-changing in the fight against systemic poverty and isolation.
How do you stay motivated?I stay motivated by remembering who we’re doing this for and staying connected with the communities we serve. I engage through volunteering, hosting workshops on asset mapping and collective interdependence, and learning about the additional benefits of cooperative economies—like improved mental health and stronger communities.
What would you do with the $25,000?We would use the $25,000 to expand WeSuap to Android users, reaching an additional 2.5 million potential users. The funds will also scale our ‘Stronger Together’ campaign, with the goal of increasing user engagement and fostering meaningful exchanges of skills and resources, accelerating our mission of creating a cashless, community-driven marketplace.
