Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration in business comes from being the product of two entrepreneurs who showed me the value of hard work, resilience, and vision. Their journey taught me that success comes from dedication and a willingness to take risks. As a mom and business owner, I strive to carry on their legacy while helping other small business owners, especially women and minorities, turn their passions into sustainable success stories.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by remembering my ‘why’—my family, my clients, and the legacy I want to build. As a mom, I strive to set an example for my children, showing them the power of perseverance and faith. I also draw motivation from the progress and success of my clients, knowing that my work makes a difference in their lives. Lastly, I stay grounded through self-reflection and celebrating small wins, which fuel my drive to keep pushing forward.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I win the $25,000, I would create a fund to provide accounting services to small businesses that need support but cannot afford it. Many entrepreneurs struggle to manage their finances, and this fund would give them access to essential services to help them grow sustainably. By investing in these businesses, I can empower owners to focus on their passions while building a solid financial foundation, fostering economic growth within the community.
