Who or what is your inspiration in business?

Daymond John’s journey has been a major inspiration to me. I first learned about him through a class at Regent University, where I discovered how he overcame challenges to create FUBU. His resilience, hard work, and ability to turn adversity into opportunity taught me that success is earned through perseverance and focus. How do you stay motivated?

To stay motivated, I often think about the future I want to create for my children and my students. I reflect on the teachers who gave me the extra time and encouragement I needed to push myself, inspiring me to become a teacher. Their dedication drives me to offer the same support to my students. Seeing the success of former students motivates me further, and I look forward to witnessing even more of my students achieve their goals and thrive in their own lives.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I were to receive $25,000, I would use it to establish a robotics program in my community, providing students with opportunities they might not otherwise have. This funding would allow me to purchase essential equipment and cover competition fees, ensuring that parents wouldn’t have to bear the financial burden. By creating this program, I aim to inspire and engage students in STEM, giving them the tools and experiences they need to explore their potential and pursue future success.
