Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

I’ve always been interested in business from a young age, thanks to my dad who had his own business growing up. When I was 10, he helped me enter a juried art show of which I was accepted and sold my artwork. As I got older, my interests expanded however the drive to turn my interests into business’ didn’t leave. I was always trying to make my hobbies self-sustainable with the help of my dad. After some challenges, I am excited to get my products out there and make an impact!

How do you stay motivated?

My gratitude for my own health and that of my 3 children, along with my passion for Chinese medicine.When I discovered TCM it changed my life so profoundly, I feel obligated to now share it with others. Unfortunately modern life has created many health issues, especially in the USA that the sheer amount of people who could benefit and receive relief from these products is motivation enough. Only once the individual is healthy, can we create healthy families, communities.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I won the contest, I would put that money into brand expansion and marketing- social media marketing. Also areas such as product development, the website and e-commerce, and building a community. Education and advocacy of East Asian methods, as the more the consumer sees different options they’ll be motivated to take back their health & wellness. I would also like to establish a volunteer/charity initiative that provides these healing techniques to help trauma from war/refugees.
