Who or what is your inspiration in business?

I'm inspired by values. I believe that everyone, people and corporations alike, are obligated to operate ethically. We've seen examples of both those extremes, however, in nonprofits and in monopolies. I believe there is a middle ground. I'm inspired by the efficiency of market forces and the heart of a charitable organization. The concept of limitless growth should not exist - in biology, we call that cancer. We all exist in an ecosystem and every part of that system should work in synergy.

How do you stay motivated?

As any other healthy entrepreneur, I stay motivated by revenue. That's always the start. But the thing that really has me digging deep day in and day out is the impact. The knowledge that there are human beings out there who will be affected positively by my work is the fire inside me that will never stop burning. When I was working only for me, it was easy to quit. When I work for others I can never give up.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I'll be perfectly honest - I haven't thought about the money until this very moment. The idea of having a stage to reach others was far more compelling. That being said, we are an early stage startup and that money would do wonders for helping us continue to support those without it. Our first initiative helps reentrants (those coming home from incarceratIon) find the support they need. The money would go to developing the technology that would match them to the resources they need to succeed.
