Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My grandfathers inspire me in business. One, a cocoa farmer, and the other, a Yamaha motorcycle dealer in Akure, Nigeria, built legacies through determination and practical wisdom. Despite no formal education, they raised over 10 children and empowered the next generation, sending my parents to North America for education. Their resilience and vision drive me to create a meaningful legacy that reflects their values and impacts my family and community.

How do you stay motivated?

My motivation comes from my son, my wife, and my now-aged father. My father invested in me, shaping the person I am today. Inspired by my grandfather’s legacy for my father and my father’s dedication to me, I strive to do the same for my son. My mission is to build and pass on generational wealth, creating a legacy that uplifts and empowers future generations.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I’d replace our aging delivery van with over 300,000 miles, which struggles in cold Chicago winters, and invest in our go-to-market strategy. This strategy targets key moments: when people sell or store furniture, refresh second properties like Airbnbs, or furnish apartments found on Zillow.
