Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration in business comes from restoring the Black equity my family once built. As a descendant of the Carrier family, who faced tragedy in the massacre, it's deeply personal to me. The wealth and opportunities my ancestors had were tragically stripped away, and my mission is to reclaim and rebuild that legacy—honoring their sacrifices by restoring the generational wealth and economic power that was unjustly taken from us.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated because I’m deeply passionate about the impact I can have on other business owners and the people I work with. Helping others grow, succeed, and achieve their goals fuels me every day. Whether it’s offering support, sharing knowledge, or just being there for someone, I find purpose in pouring into others. Seeing their progress and knowing I played a part in it keeps me driven and reminds me of the bigger picture I’m working toward. It's all about lifting others

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would use the $25,000 to onboard part-time staff or a fractional service to help delegate some tasks and responsibilities. This would allow me to focus more on strategic growth and scaling my business, and not be so involved in the day-to-day operations. By freeing up my time from routine tasks, I can dedicate more energy to high-impact areas, drive innovation, and position the business for long-term success!
