Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My childhood role model, now my business icon is Aliko Dangote a Nigerian businessman, industrialist who is currently the richest black man in Africa. He has inspired me to use Ajay K. Banga’s ”Never be Satisfied” business strategy (he invested in manufacturing industries and thus started Dangote Cement) He gave me a sense of perspective that helped shape my vision for Rachvid Wears, our mantra is ” Start small, Dream big”. Dangote networth is $27 Billion.

How do you stay motivated?

My vision of becoming one of the best footwear and fashion designers in the United States of America keeps me motivated. I continue doing what I love to do and develop my vision ideas through various webinars, reading books, innovating on designs, logistics management and having a strategic vision to expand my business to the global markets, looking for innovative ways to improve and develop my products by having conversations with mentors, clients and fellow entrepreneurs for product insights.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would utilize this $25,000 for the purpose of expanding the Rachvid Wears business by sourcing and buying premium materials in bulk for production, Investment in equipment to help production be faster. I will also explore online advertisements to reach more potential clients and establish a stronger online presence across continents – Europe, Americas, Africa, Middle East and Asia. I will invest in office and warehouse facility (storage), to house materials and aid production.
