Who or what is your inspiration in business?

As a young girl my love for nature, artistic expression, and entrepreneurship came from being around my grandparents. Either weekly yard work, volunteering as an art assistant with my grandma, or waiting in the parking lot 4hrs every Sunday for my grandpa to finish his floor cleaning contracts. As a pre-teen and up until now, I've developed a love for children and their 'wholistic' growth, so I continue to advocate for healthier & creative spaces for them.

How do you stay motivated?

As someone who has struggled with procrastination and negative self-talk, I stay motivated by balancing the mind, body, and soul. I believe that as leaders, we have to remember to pour into ourselves. So, I've been practicing affirmations, journaling, and educating myself on things that bother/concern me. I go to the gym once a week, eat better, and take nature walks. I have a close relationship with God for help on my soul's journey and practice compassion for everyone.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I were awarded the $25,000 prize, I would first use $5,000 to pay off any immediate personal debt. This will help me clean my plate for more opportunities to invest in my business. Then, I'd use $5,000 as equity to start a gardening program with Duval County Public Schools. Another $5,000 as a down payment for a workshop space & the remaining $10,000 into a marketing strategy utilizing social media, billboards, and fundraising; called "Operation East Coast Pollination."
