Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration in business comes from the families I serve every day. Witnessing their resilience in the face of systemic barriers and inequities drives me to create solutions that empower them to thrive. I’m also inspired by my late grandmother, who taught me the importance of community, compassion, and lifting others as you climb. Her unwavering belief in the power of service continues to guide my work and reminds me that true success is measured by the impact you leave on others.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by focusing on the families and communities that rely on me for support and guidance. Seeing the positive impact of our work—whether it’s a parent feeling empowered after an IEP meeting or a child receiving early intervention services—fuels my passion. I also draw strength from my team, whose dedication inspires me daily, and from the broader vision of creating equitable systems that serve marginalized communities. I also remind myself of our progress.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If awarded the $25,000, I would invest in personal and professional growth to enhance my leadership and impact. This includes advanced training in nonprofit leadership, a personal wellness plan to sustain my focus, and mentorship opportunities to expand my network. These steps will empower me to drive systemic change and better serve underserved communities.
