Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My father inspired me to pursue my dreams and never stop learning, instilling values that fuel my journey as a candle maker. Watching Shark Tank motivates me, seeing people of all ages find their passion and thrive as entrepreneurs. I’m inspired by former students who helped name my business, reminding me that collaboration and creativity lead to success. This has driven me to spread love and light through my candles while growing globally and inspiring others to achieve their goals.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by wanting my kids to see me succeed and know that hard work and passion can turn dreams into reality. My students also drive me to stay motivated—I strive to set an example of perseverance and creativity for them. My parents, who have always supported and encouraged me, remind me to keep pushing forward. Lastly, my clients motivate me with their trust and appreciation for my candles, driving me to create products that bring joy and light into their lives.

What would you do with the $25,000?

With $25,000, I’d support my school by funding creative programs, sponsoring our 5th-grade Young Entrepreneur Day with prizes for top ideas, grow my candle business by building inventory, and create a scholarship for aspiring entrepreneurs in my community and the school district in which I teach. As a teacher and Chamber of Commerce member, I’m dedicated to inspiring future entrepreneurs, expanding my business, and giving back to the school and community that helped shape my journey.
