What is the Entrepreneur of Impact?
Learn MoreMy inspiration is every person of color in fashion who came before me. I hope to ascend through all the glass ceiling shattered before me. In doing so I want to bring awareness to mental health, bring unity to the Black and Brown community and glorify God in all I do. Providing luxury at a more accessible price point, while inspiring the youth to chase their dreams in the face of all barriers.
How do you stay motivated?I stay motivated by remembering where I came from. Knowing the feeling of doubt and hopelessness that shrouded me at my darkest and lowest points and hope through my work I can show anyone else, specifically youth going through those same feelings that they can overcome and succeed beyond their wildest imaginations.
What would you do with the $25,000?If I am blessed to receive the 25,000 I would use the money to increase my efforts in building a brand that highlights unity, God, and the importance of mental health specifically in low income communities. I would also use part of the money to increase my efforts to give back by providing resources and access to marginalized communities in an effort to build and create substantive opportunities for the youth.
