Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration in business is to create transformative opportunities for underserved communities, empowering individuals to overcome systemic barriers, achieve their full potential, and build meaningful, purpose-driven lives. My focus is black and brown boys in and out of foster care. It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men. My work has recently extended to include reentrants, this work confirms the previous statement.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by focusing on my mission to uplift underserved communities, witnessing the impact of the work, and drawing strength from my faith, resilience, and the legacy I am building to inspire future generations. Seeing the impact of the lives served and their subsequent impact on others drives me to keep going! Onward and upward is my motto!

What would you do with the $25,000?

With $25,000, I would invest in expanding the Fostering Success Residential Care Program, enhancing its capacity to serve more youth in the foster care system. This investment would focus on improving facilities, developing tailored programs, providing essential resources, and creating more opportunities to support at-risk males in their journey toward stability and success. My goal is to deepen the program’s impact and empower more young lives in a residential setting.
