Who or what is your inspiration in business?

I am the CEO/Founder of Coaching and Consulting with Dr. Sugi. My passion is to use my skills to help individuals recover and rebuild their lives from the devastation caused by traumatic events, such as war, natural disasters (tsunami, hurricanes), recurring substance use, and maladaptive coping skills. I have extensive experience in the mental health field while utilizing evidence-based approaches to help adults and children reach their treatment goals.

How do you stay motivated?

I always focus on my vision and mission and consider how to contribute to society and my community. For that, I developed an awareness and a strategy plan, leading to a positive attitude. Also, I am always kind to society and myself, and my internal happiness also helps me to be motivated. Through my experience and knowledge, I learned that empowering others will help you to empower yourself and stay motivated.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I am the CEO/Founder of Coaching and Consulting with Dr. Sugi. My intention in starting my own business is to create awareness about Mental Health among humankind. We are all aware that even talking about Mental Health is something shunned in Sri Lankan society simply because they are afraid due to feedback. Therefore, creating awareness about mental health in the Sri Lankan culture is also one of my goals. If I win the money, I will invest it to accomplish the goals mentioned above.
