Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration in business comes from my first job in the U.S., helping a senior in a mobile home park. I witnessed their isolation, loneliness, and lack of access to care, which deeply moved me. Growing up in the Philippines, my parents’ hard work and values of compassion taught me perseverance. My faith drives me to see my business as a ministry of service, and the seniors I serve inspire me daily with their resilience. I’m committed to honoring them through care and compassion.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by holding onto my "why"! The seniors who need care, connection, and someone they can trust. Their struggles remind me of my purpose, I’m not afraid to provide direct care myself because it grounds me in the heart of my mission. Every interaction, every smile, and every moment of gratitude fuels my passion! Knowing I can make a difference in their lives drives me to keep going, ensuring they feel valued, supported, and never alone.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I receive the $25,000 grant, I would use it to subsidize wages for our caregivers, ensuring they are fairly compensated while expanding our ability to serve seniors in need. This funding would allow us to provide quality care to seniors who cannot afford it, ensuring they receive the dignity, support, and connection they deserve. It would help bridge the gap for underserved seniors, allowing them to age in place with comfort and security.
