Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration comes from my daughter. Growing up I faced many challenges and it wasn't easy. I want to show her that you can be or accomplish anything that you dream of in life as long as you believe in yourself. When I see my clients smile after I complete their service, it motivates me and inspires me to keep doing what I love. Being a Salon Owner was always my dream and I've accomplished my goal. Now it's time to accomplish everything and more that I have planned out for my business.

How do you stay motivated?

What I want to accomplish and my goals keep me motivated. As I go back and think about how it all started until now, it amazes me how I started with little to no clients to now having new people and returning clients every week. To see all of the goals I've written down in the past come to an existence motivates me to keep going and never give up. Even when I think things are not going the way the are supposed to be, I remind myself of what I want for my business and that's what helps me.

What would you do with the $25,000?

The $25,000 would help my business out tremendously. I would use the funds to expand and to get everything that I would need to be able to provide every service for my clients. Products, equipment, marketing and supplies can be expensive at times but I try my best to make sure everything is handled but sometimes it can be hard. I have a vision for my business and I just want to be able to accomplish everything that I need in order to satisfy my clients and bring my vision into a reality.
